Alcohol and homelessness entwine around Satpal's life, dragging him onto a downward spiral where a night in a police cell is actually a welcome chance to get warm, clean up and eat a decent meal. Unfortunately it also leads to longer periods in jail, until he manages to get onto a ladder out of damaging behaviours provided by NHS Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust.
