Despite being diagnosed with biliary atresia at two weeks old, Graeme had enjoyed success at football and had trials for several clubs. When an injury forced him to give up football, he still felt lucky that he'd managed to keep his liver disease under control. At the age of 15 Graeme's liver disease made him ill again and he realised the importance of never taking anything for granted. |
